AL.com Power 25 HS Rankings: 3 Top 10 matchups this week in T-town

This week’s Super 7 AHSAA high school football championships feature three top 10 Power 25 matchups.

In Class 7A, No. 1-ranked Central-Phenix City takes on No. 4 Thompson. In Class 6A, No. 2 Saraland battles No. 3 Clay-Chalkville. In Class 5A, No. 9 Gulf Shores plays No. 5 Ramsay.

The Power 25 ranks the top high school football teams in Alabama regardless of classification. The final Power 25 of the 2023 football season will be released next Monday.

All championship games this week will be played at Tuscaloosa’s Bryant-Denny Stadium.
