There are three changes at the top in this week’s AHSAA coaches’ girls’ soccer poll in Week 3 with just one on the boys’ side.

The Oak Mountain girls took over the top spot in Class 7A, swapping spots with now No. 2 Spain Park. Oak Mountain carries a 5-0 record into the week while Spain Park is 3-0-1.

In Class 5A, East Limestone moved up from No. 2 to the top spot with Carroll-Ozark making a big jump from No. 8 to No. 2. Last week’s top-ranked team, John Carroll, fell to No. 7

And, in Class 1A/3A, Susan Moore’s girls are now No. 1 from last week’s No. 2 ranking. Westminster Christian dropped to second in the poll.

Westminster Christian’s boys’ squad swapped places with St. John Paul II, its Huntsville neighbor from about five miles away, atop the Class 4A poll. Westminster is 3-0 while St. John Paul II is 2-0 headed into the week.
