Boys pairings for AHSAA Class 6A-1A sub-regional games and regional matchups for Class 7A are set after area tournaments ended on Thursday.

Sub-regional games for boys are scheduled for Saturday while the girls sub-regional round is on Friday. Each area tournament winner hosts a predetermined area runner-up in sub-regionals with winners advancing to regional semifinals.

The winner and runner-up of Class 7A area tournaments also advance to regional semifinals, which will be played at four sites: Northwest at Wallace-Hanceville, Central at Bill Harris Arena in Birmingham, Northeast at Jacksonville State and South at Garrett Coliseum in Montgomery.

Class 7A regional semifinal games will be played on Tuesday at the Northeast Regional and Wednesday at the other three sites with winners earning a spot in the state championship tournament in Birmingham.
