Adult siblings ID’d as 2 killed in rollover crash on I-459 in Hoover

Two siblings have been identified as the victims of a fatal rollover crash on a Hoover interstate over the weekend.

The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the fatality victims as Richard Scott Davis, 60, and Vicki R. Davis, 62. They lived in Bessemer.

The wreck happened at 9:45 p.m. Friday on I-459 northbound, one mile south of the Highway 150 exit.

Authorities said Richard Scott Davis was the driver of an SUV that was involved in a collision with another SUV.

His SUV overturned following the impact. He and Vicki Davis were both pronounced dead on the scene at 10:05 p.m.

Hoover police Capt. Keith Czeskleba said the occupants of the other SUV sustained minor injuries.

The investigation is ongoing by Hoover police.
