Add this classic advertising jingle to your Record Store Day 2025 list
Where can you find the best burgers in town?
Everybody goes to . . . Milo’s
With the secret sauce that’s known all around
Everybody goes to . . . Milo’s
Now that you’ve got that catchy Milo’s Hamburgers jingle stuck in your head — again! — you’ll want to rush out to Seasick Records on Birmingham’s Southside and get your limited-edition, seven-inch vinyl copy of the iconic Birmingham advertising jingle that first aired on radio stations in 1993 and that you likely sing aloud every time you go to Milo’s.
As part of its Record Store Day 2025 celebration on Saturday, Seasick Records has partnered with Milo’s Hamburgers to produce 400 copies of the “Everybody Goes to Milo’s” record, which is pressed on “Milo’s Sauce Brown” vinyl.
The record includes the original jingle written by Birmingham musician Macey Taylor and performed by the late, legendary Topper Price, as well as cover versions by Alabama artists St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Taylor Hollingsworth, The Brummies, Suaze, the Firehouse Community Arts Band and DJ Stin & Danrude.
All of the proceeds from the release will benefit the Firehouse Community Arts Center, a creative learning space in Birmingham’s Forest Park-South Avondale neighborhood that offers music education programs and scholarship opportunities for musically-underserved students in the community. FCAC students are also featured on the record.

The original Milo’s jingle was produced by Birmingham advertising executive Roger Means, who came up with the theme and the title and enlisted the help of his friend Macey Taylor to write it, according to Mary Duncan Proctor, the marketing director for Milo’s Hamburgers.
As the pieces started to come together, they got Topper Price to sing it and Mark Harrelson of Boutwell Studios to engineer it. The catchy jingle became a local hit on Birmingham radio stations.
Seasick Records, which recently moved to a new location at 3131 Fifth Ave. S., will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday for Record Store Day 2025.
The “Everybody Goes to Milo’s” vinyl and all other Record Store Day titles will be limited to one copy per person, per title.
In previous years, customers have started lining up the Friday before doors open for Record Store Day, according to the Seasick Records website.
This year, customers will be able to line up and camp inside the store corridor until it fills up, the website says. After that, customers may camp outside the store.
Milo’s Hamburgers will be onsite grilling burgers, and the Alabama Peanut Company will serve specials suited for the occasion, including their Milo’s sauce boiled peanuts and their Milo’s Sweet Tea boiled peanuts.
