ABC Stores closing, adjusting store hours as snow and ice sweep Alabama

The Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control Board is temporarily closing several stores and modifying business hours through Wednesday in response to road conditions throughout the state.

All ABC Stores located in Colbert, Franklin, Lauderdale, Limestone, Madison, Morgan, Jackson, Marshall, Marion, Pickens, Walker, Choctaw and Dekalb counties will be closed through Wednesday.

The following ABC Stores located in other counties will be closed today and Wednesday: Cullman; Fairfield; Tarrant City; Roebuck; Vestavia Hills; SPelham (U.S. 119); Calera; Leeds; Birmingham (wholesale only), and Alabaster.

The following stores will be open from noon to 6 p.m. today and tomorrow. Lincoln; Birmingham (south side); Bessemer; Birmingham (downtown); Birmingham (Finley Ave.); Bessemer (I-459); Childersburg; Sylacauga; Helena; Trussville; Mountain Brook; Hoover; Talladega; Wedowee; Birmingham (U.S. 280); Hueytown; Pell City; Springville; Fultondale; Homewood; Pelham; Birmingham (Five Points West); Adamsville; Chelsea, and Birmingham (wholesale only).

“The safety of our customers and store staff is paramount,” ABC Board Administrator Curtis Stewart said. “We will continue to evaluate the situation as it relates to health and safety.”

The ABC Board will update this list, as needed, based on weather and road conditions.
