Mobile has always enjoyed a good tribute show, but Spring 2024 has brought a conspicuous upsurge in rock-as-repertory offerings. Whether you want to hear some AC/DC or some ABBA, some Prince or some John Prine, you’ve got options.

Take a run of tribute shows at the Mobile Saenger Theatre, add in a slate at the OWA entertainment complex in Foley and throw in an outlier from Soul Kitchen (Grateful Dead mixed with Steely Dan, anyone?) and it adds up. Some of the shows coming to the area focus strictly on the music, while others try to recreate the look of the originals as well.
