A popular Tuscaloosa steakhouse will soon open a new Birmingham location

A popular Tuscaloosa fine dining steakhouse will open its second location in Birmingham this month.

Dillard’s Chophouse is scheduled to open in The Westin Birmingham on April 29.

The dining room can seat about 120 guests, and is able to host intimate gatherings and large groups.

Dillard’s will serve breakfast from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m., lunch from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and dinner until midnight.

Head Chef Jacob Stull brings more than 13 years of culinary expertise, and Dillard’s will offer premium steak dishes, a cocktail menu and a comprehensive wine list. Plans for in-house dry aging will be added in the future.

“We are excited to become a part of Birmingham’s vibrant restaurant community,” owner Andrew Dillard said. “Our decision to open a second location in downtown Birmingham was a great move, allowing us to offer our signature menu and exceptional service, similar to what our patrons enjoy in Tuscaloosa.”
