A new location of Cookie Fix is coming to Brockâs Gap in Hoover
Cookie Fix, the Alabama-based bakeshop known for its rotating menu of cookies, will be opening a fourth location in the Birmingham metro area next year.
The new storefront will be located at 1021 Brock’s Gap Pkwy Suite #109 in Hoover, according to the bakery website. In addition to the location in Brock’s Gap, Cookie Fix is set to open two additional shops in Alabama next year– one in Madison County and one on U.S. 280.

Cookie Fix currently has four storefronts: the flagship location in Homewood, a location in Cahaba Heights, one in Huntsville and one in Franklin, Tenn.
Amy Jason opened the flagship location of Cookie Fix in 2016. The bakeshop is famous for its rotating and seasonal menu. The staff posts a monthly cookie calendar on the Cookie Fix website. The monthly rundown, however, is just a plan and the selection of cookies may still vary daily. Knox Ashford, the manager of the Cookie Fix shop in Homewood, says developing the bakery’s menu is a long process.
“A lot of information and data goes into it! It’s something that we work on throughout the whole year, taking into account the year before,” Ashford told AL.com in a recent interview. “It’s what sold really well. What were people excited about? What do we think, not necessarily just what’s going to sell a lot, but what we do feel gives our menu some diversity.”
