A few strong storms possible in Alabama next 3 days

Isolated severe storms will be possible in the northern and central parts of Alabama today, Thursday and also Friday.

That’s according to NOAA’s Storm Prediction Center. SPC forecasters have included the northern part of Alabama in a Level 1 out of 5 severe weather risk each day.

A Level 1 (or marginal) risk means that isolated severe storms will be possible.

The stronger storms could have damaging winds and possibly hail.

No severe weather is expected in south Alabama, and most places in the southern part of the state may won’t even see any rain.

The National Weather Service in Huntsville continued to say that there was a low probability of severe storms for Alabama all three days.

Forecasters said storms will be possible through the day today. Then there will be a possibility of a few strong storms Thursday night into Friday.
