A search is underway for a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of another man in Cullman Sunday.

The shooting happened just before 11 p.m. Sunday in the 200 block of Hickory Avenue S.W.

The Cullman County Coroner’s Office identified the slain man as Thomas James Brannon. He was 37 and lived in Cullman.

Details of the homicide have not yet been released.

Cullman police announced Monday a $1,000 reward for information leading to the whereabouts of suspect 36-year-old John Wesley Drozda. Investigators said he should be considered armed and dangerous.
