American Idol is back for an all new season set to to premiere on Feb. 18, 2024 at 8/7c on ABC.

Season 22 of American Idol, as always, will kick off with the first round of auditions, one of which will take place in Judge Lionel Richie’s hometown of Tuskegee, Ala.

It was also recently announced that long time Judge Katy Perry will be departing from the show following this season.
