The body of a Spring Hill, Tenn. man was recovered Saturday night after he apparently drowned in the Tennessee River.

WAFF is reporting the incident happened near a boat ramp in the area of the Wheeler Dam.

The Lawrence County Coroner identified the victim as Dennis Neal, 69.

Neal’s body was recovered just before 6 p.m.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) assisted in the recovery efforts.
