Spain Park grinds out 31-3 win over Chelsea in crucial region battle
Spain Park’s vaunted passing attack was grounded early and often, but not its running game as the Jaguars ground out a 31-3 victory over No. 10 Chelsea in Thursday’s region showdown at Jaguar Stadium.
Spain Park (7-0, 4-0 Class 6A, Region 3) received the opening kickoff and started its initial possession at the Chelsea 37-yard line following a 60-yard return by Corey Barber. The fourth-ranked Jaguars scored seven plays later on a 10-yard touchdown pass to CJ Cowley from Clemson quarterback commit Brock Bradley.
