‘90’s fan-favorite menu item has returned to Taco Bell
The Double Decker Taco, a fan-favorite item from the 90s, has returned to the menu at Taco Bell.
The taco, reports TODAY.com, features a bean-filled tortilla wrapped around a taco shell and filled with seasoned beef, lettuce and shredded cheddar cheese.
Fans of Taco Bell have a limited window to get the Double Decker Taco– the menu item will be on the menu until Oct. 30.
What other fan-favorite items are back on the Taco Bell menu?
This summer, Taco Bell announced it would bring back five menu items.
Here’s a look at the new limited-time menu, courtesy of Eat This, Not That.
- Tostada: Tostadas feature a crispy corn shell layered with refried beans, red sauce, lettuce, and shredded cheese for a suggested price of $2.19.
- Green Burrito: Burrito is filled with refried beans, onions, shredded cheddar cheese, and a green sauce made with green chili, tomatillos, jalapeños, and spices. It will sell for a suggested price of $2.49.
- Meximelt: This item features pico de gallo, seasoned beef, and a three-cheese blend melted inside a tortilla for a suggested price of $2.99.
- Beef Gordita Supreme: Gordita consists of a warm flatbread filled with beef, reduced-fat sour cream, lettuce, a three-cheese blend, and diced tomatoes.
- Caramel Apple Empanada: Caramel Apple Empanada features a deep-fried pastry shell filled with diced apples and caramel sauce. It will be available for a suggested price of $2.99.
