On Wednesday at 4:15 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory valid for Wednesday between 5 a.m. and 8 a.m. for Marshall, Jackson and DeKalb counties.

The weather service states, “Visibility reduced to one quarter of a mile in dense fog.”
