51-year-old woman killed in single-vehicle crash in east Birmingham
A Shelby County woman has died following a crash last week in east Birmingham.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the woman as Kathy Ruth Williams. She was 51 and lived in Alabaster.
The wreck happened at 2:44 p.m. Friday in the 1400 block of Edwards Lake Road. No other vehicles were involved.
Williams was taken to UAB Hospital where she was pronounced dead Sunday at 11:39 a.m.
Birmingham police are investigating.
