Vote for the Cunningham Bounds Coastal Player of the Week

Once again this year, readers have a chance to vote for the Cunningham Bounds Coastal Alabama Football Player of the Week.

Coaches can submit statistics following their games on Friday night or nominate players before noon each Saturday.

Nominations must come from a coach or official team statistician. They can be emailed to [email protected] .

Voting is open until Wednesday morning. The winner will be announced on AL.com on Thursday.

Here are the nominees from Week 3:

Antonio Brown, Mobile Christian: Brown ran 24 times for 331 yards and scored on TD runs of 1, 56 and 63 yards in a victory over Satsuma.

Jeremiah Connolly, Citronelle: Connolly finished with nine tackles, a sack, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery in the Wildcats’ 40-8 win over Faith Academy.

Sammy Dunn, Vigor: Dunn threw three touchdown passes and ran for two more as the Wolves rolled over LeFlore. Dunn finished 11-of-14 for 286 yards.

Willie Maddox, Williamson: Maddox ran for 172 yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries as the Lions shut out Elberta to remain undefeated.

Noah Moss, St. Michael: Moss rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries and caught four passes for 91 yards and a TD as the Cardinals defeated W.S. Neal to stay undefeated.

Jack O’Neil, McGill-Toolen: O’Neil kicked six field goals to lift the Yellow Jackets to an 18-16 victory over Theodore. O’Neil’s field goals came from 38, 40, 31, 32, 32 and 34 yards.

Braxton Thompson, Blount: Thompson had 12 tackles, a pair of sacks and an interception in the Leopards’ double-overtime win over Murphy. He also forced a fumble.
