Rolling into Week 3 of the high school football season tonight with critical region games and big rivalries renewed across the state.

Some key games tonight include Opelika at Auburn, Enterprise at Dothan, James Clemens at Bob Jones, Daphne at Mary G. Montgomery, Saraland and at Gulf Shores at Hoover at Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa.

A pair of somewhat surprising unbeatens in the Battle for Central Baldwin between 2-0 Robertsdale and 2-0 Foley.

Thompson set to take on Tuscaloosa County in the 7A, Region 3 opener.

6:30 PM, Another game moved: It was announced earlier today that the region game between Oakman and Carbon Hill would be moved to Sept. 27 after weapons were found in a student’s car. It’s the third time a game has been altered in the last week.
