Decatur police say two people were found dead inside a home Friday afternoon.

Police were called to a residence in the 1800 block of Fifth Avenue S.W. at about 12:07 p.m.

Officers found two people dead inside the home.

Detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division, the Crime Scene Investigation Unit and Morgan County Coroner Jeff Chunn were contacted and responded.

Police say investigators believe the deaths to be an isolated incident at this time.

An investigation is ongoing.
