American Eagle is coming to Birmingham’s The Summit.

A sign at the shopping center between Lizard Thicket and aerie advertises that the store is “coming soon.”

There is no announcement yet on an opening date.

The clothing company based in Pittsburgh already has 15 locations in Alabama – Auburn, Decatur, Florence, Foley, Gadsden, Hoover, Leeds, Mobile, Montgomery, Oxford, Huntsville and Tuscaloosa.

Next door neighbor aerie is owned by American Eagle Outfitters.

The Summit has added several new retailers this year, including menswear store Mizzen+Main, jewelry brand gorjana and luxury men’s clothing store Peter Millar.
