A woman was struck and killed late Saturday as she was walking along U.S. 90 in Tillman’s Corner.

Lisa Berry, 49, was identified as the victim who was struck at approximately 11:14 p.m. on the highway near the Lowe’s Home Improvement store.

Upon arrival, officers learned that Berry was walking west on Highway 90 when she was fatally struck by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene until officers arrived, and no arrests have been made.

It’s unclear why Berry was walking along the highway. Police also did not have additional information about Berry, such as the location of her hometown.
