UAB executives, staff got salary increases this summer. See the list

Five University of Alabama at Birmingham employees recently received promotions or salary increases. The University of Alabama System Board of Trustees approved updates during the Aug. 20 Compensation Committee meeting. The salaries are effective Oct. 1.

UAB Chief Financial Officer Stephanie Mullins is UAB’s inaugural vice president for strategic initiatives. Mullins’ salary is now $452,480, an increase of about 17%. See UAB’s news release on Mullins here.

Dr. James Cimino is inaugural chair of informatics and endowed professorship in informatics in the UAB Heersink School of Medicine. Dr. Cimino’s salary is $457,754, an increase of 3%.
