Jalen Milroe scores Alabama football’s first touchdown of the Kalen DeBoer era

Alabama football has experienced plenty of change since the start of 2024. But there was something familiar to start the Kalen DeBoer era.

Jalen Milroe scoring a touchdown.

The returning starter at quarterback gave the Crimson Tide their first score of the 2024 season when he scampered from 12 yards out. That score put Alabama up 7-0 with 10:10 left in the first quarter.

Milroe’s touchdown was made possible by an interception from Keon Sabb on the second Western Kentucky drive of the game.

He also played a big role in the second score of the DeBoer era: A passing touchdown, which Milroe threw to Kendrick Law. Milroe extended the play to find Law, who scampered for 22 yards.
