A 16-year-old boy died from injuries received in a crash Thursday night involving a 4-wheeler and a vehicle.

Decatur police said the incident happened at about 8 p.m. at the intersection of Cedar Street S.W. and Graham Avenue S.W.

Decatur Fire, Decatur Morgan EMS, and Decatur Police were dispatched to the area after a vehicle traveling west on Cedar Street collided with a 4-wheeler traveling south on Graham Avenue.

Both the driver and the passenger of the 4-wheeler were ejected.

The driver was airlifted to Huntsville Hospital where he died from his injuries.

The passenger was also transported to Huntsville Hospital where he remains in stable condition.

Police are investigating.
