Alabama football legend Bart Starr’s home is on the market

A Hoover home owned by the late NFL quarterback Bart Starr is on the market, offering a private tennis court and 7,658 square feet of living space.

The home was designed in 1990 by Bart’s wife, Cherry Starr. Bart Starr died in 2019 and his wife in February 2024.

Starr, who was born in Montgomery, played football for the University of Alabama before becoming a quarterback and later head coach for the Green Bay Packers. He was a two-time Super Bowl MVP and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
