Country music legend’s concert includes police officer arrested for urinating on woman
Not everyone enjoyed Kenny Chesney’s “Sun Goes Down” tour at Gilette Stadium over the weekend.
Shane Lynch, an off duty police officer from Cranston, Massachusetts, was arrested Saturday after Foxborough police said he urinated on a woman in the audience, per Taste of Country.
Newsweek reports the incident took place in the front row where Lynch was described as “heavily intoxicated.”
According to the report, the woman felt something before turning around and seeing Lynch in the act. At that point, Lynch tried to avoid security before it caught up with him.
Lynch was charged with disorderly conduct and destruction of property.
Cranston Police Department police chief Michael Winquist said he was aware of Lynch’s arrest and that he would “handle the matter administratively,” according to Taste of Country.
