St. Paul’s works overtime to beat rival UMS-Wright
For more than 47 minutes, UMS-Wright had the upper hand over St. Paul’s in the annual Battle of Old Shell Road rivalry Mobile’s E.E. Delaney Stadium on Friday night.
But a perfectly executed two-minute drill resulted in Drew Ginsberg’s 26-yard field goal as time expired tie the game at 3-all and forced overtime. Then, St. Paul’s star Anthony “Tank” Jones’ scored on a 15-yard touchdown run in overtime to give the Saints a 10-3 victory.
