Coke, Oreo team up for limited edition cookies and drinks

You’ve probably heard of milk and cookies. But Coke and cookies? Apparently, that’s a thing.

Coca Cola and Oreos are teaming up for two new, limited-edition food and beverage products. According to USA TODAY the new items – a cookie and a drink – will be available on Monday, Sept. 9.

They include:

  • Oreo Coca-Cola Sandwich Cookie – The sandwich cookie will have one classic chocolate side with Coca-Cola syrup and one red-colored side with a golden-embossed Coca-Cola logo, all stuffed with a smooth white-colored cream. The two cakes are paired with a Coca-Cola taste and popping candy.
  • Coca-Cola Oreo Zero Sugar – A fusion of Coca-Cola taste with flavor hints inspired by Oreo cookies.

“At Oreo, we strive to identify fresh ways to excite consumers and, with this collaboration, we have truly upped the ante,” said Eugenia Zalis, the Global Head of Marketing and Brand for Oreo, Mondelez International. “We cannot wait to see the reaction to the campaign and hope fans are excited to experience the latest twists on two classics.”

An Oreo flavor inspired by ice cream

In July, Oreo released limited-edition Mint Chip Oreos. Modeled after the ice cream flavor mint chocolate chip, the Oreos combine two classic chocolate cookies, mint chip-flavored cream and little chocolate chips.
