A 33-year-old Mobile woman was arrested and booked into the Mobile Metro Jail on a charge of murder following a deadly stabbing on Thursday at a west Mobile apartment complex.

According to Mobile police, Jennifer Heathcoe allegedly cut 33-year-old Taylor Rawlins with a knife during an altercation the two had inside an apartment at the Charleston Apartment Homes, 2889 Sollie Road.

Heathcoe remains at the Mobile Metro Jail. The case remains an active investigation, and no further information was available.
