Controversial ‘Saturday Night Live’ star has terminal cancer

Victoria Jackson announced this week that she has terminal cancer.

The former “Saturday Night Live” star shared the news in a YouTube video, which she titled “Is the Cancer Back?”

“They cannot operate and cut out the marble in my chest that is laying on my windpipe and eventually would suffocate me to death,” the 65-year-old said.

“They are giving me a magic pill. It’s going to be delivered to my front door within the next 12 hours.”

Jackson revealed the cancer is related to the breast cancer she had nine years ago.

“I looked up the pill on Google, and it says people who take this have 32.6 months to live,” she said. “Something like that.”

Jackson has found herself in the midst of controversy recently. In 2023, per Entertainment Weekly, she protested at a city council meeting in Tennessee over a Pride parade in 2023.

Jackson was a member of the Saturday Night Live cast from 1986 to 1992.
