Breaking is a new sport at the Olympic Games, and there are numerous women competing for gold today. The group stage is currently transpiring on Peacock and E! Network, which will be followed by the quarterfinal, semifinal, and final on the same networks. Team USA has two breakers competing in the event, including Grace Sun Choi and Logan Edra.

Notably, Choi enters the competition as the best American breaker. Additionally, she is ranked as the 10th-best breaker in the world.

Choi struggled during her first two matches, as she was defeated 2-0 in both battles. She can bounce back with a victory in her final group stage showing, but her 0-2 record will likely get her eliminated before the knockout stage.

Edra has performed decently this morning, as she enters her third match with a 1-1 record. She won her first match 2-0 against Australia’s Rachael Gunn, but she lost her second battle 2-0. Edra’s record has placed her just outside the top two of her group, so she will try to recover by winning her next match.
