Travis played collegiate basketball for multiple schools, including Florida Southern College during his junior and senior seasons. Notably, Travis averaged more than 11 points per game during his junior campaign and won an NCAA DII national championship.

Barry played college basketball at Florida, where he competed at a high level for multiple years. He averaged nearly 13 points per game during his junior season in 2014, while also obtaining more than five rebounds each game.
