A 79-year-old man died Sunday, two days after he was critically injured in a Bessemer crash.

The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the fatality victim as Mose Howard White. He lived in Bessemer.

The wreck happened at 8:07 p.m. Friday on Fourth Avenue S.W. at McCalla Road. Details of the crash were not made available, but authorities said no other vehicles were involved.

White was taken to UAB Hospital where he died at 5:26 p.m. Sunday.

Bessemer police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
