JD Vance asks how Biden can ‘justify remaining President’ after bowing out

Republican Vice Presidential nominee JD Vance wasted no time weighing in on President Joe Biden’s decision to bow out of the 2024 campaign, asking how he can remain in the office.

“If Joe Biden ends his reelection campaign, how can he justify remaining President?” Vance asked on a post on the social media platform X.

“Not running for re-election would be a clear admission that President Trump was right all along about Biden not being mentally fit enough to serve as Commander-in-Chief.

“There is no middle ground,” Vance stated.

Alabama Sen. Tommy Tuberville reposted Vance’s comments on his X account.

Biden announced he was abandoning his campaign for re-election Sunday afternoon.

In a phone call with CNN, former President Trump said of Biden, “He is the worst president in the history of our country. He goes down as the single worst president by far in the history of our country.”

Trump went on to say he believes Vice President Kamala Harris, if she ends up being the Democratic nominee, will be easier to defeat in the November presidential election.

Biden dropped out of the 2024 race for the White House on Sunday, ending his bid for reelection following a disastrous debate with Donald Trump that raised doubts about his fitness for office just four months before the election.
