A Lawrence County man is facing charges of sexual abuse of a child less than 12-years-old in connection with an incident that allegedly happened last Saturday.

Elijah Jack Zaborowski, 19, of Moulton, was charged on Tuesday.

According to court documents, Zaborowski is accused of grabbing a five-year-old in the buttocks before exposing himself to the child. He then ran home, according to authorities.

Investigators say the incident happened during the day in the parking area of an apartment complex on Burch Boulevard.

Zaborowski’s bond was set at $36,000.

A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 2.
