An overnight shooting in Montgomery left one man dead and another injured.

Police and fire medics were dispatched at 12:35 a.m. Tuesday to a report of people shot in the 3200 block of Covered Bridge Road.

One man was dead on the scene, and another was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police Maj. Saba Coleman identified the slain victim as Kavone Mosquera. He was 20.

No arrests have been announced and no additional information surrounding the shooting has been released.
