Blue Bell unveils new limited-edition flavor for 40th National Ice Cream Month
Blue Bell Ice Cream has dropped a new limited-edition flavor that combines two iconic desserts.
Last week, the ice cream brand unveiled Cookies ‘n Cream Cheesecake Ice Cream. The new flavor consists of a cheesecake ice cream base blended with chocolate cookie-crusted cheesecake pieces and chocolate crème-filled cookies
The new flavor was created to celebrate the two days in July that recognize ice cream and cheesecake, reports USA TODAY.
“This year is the 40th anniversary of National Ice Cream Month. In 1984, President Ronald Reagan designated July as National Ice Cream Month and the third Sunday as National Ice Cream Day,” according to a news release. “The following year, July 30 officially became National Cheesecake Day.”
Blue Bell’s Cookies ‘n Cream Cheesecake Ice Cream will be available at grocers across the county.
In 2025, Blue Bell will bring back two retired ice cream flavors– Groom’s Cake and Cookie Cake.
