With reigning state champion Montgomery Catholic moving up a class this fall, there will be a new Class 4A champion crowned at Protective Stadium in Birmingham in December.

Reigning 3A champ Mobile Christian moves into 4A and should be a factor – even with former coach Ronnie Cottrell stepping down in the off-season. But who finishes atop a strong list of contenders is anyone’s guess.
