President Biden holding live press conference today: Time, channel, how to watch without cable

Under increasing fire to exit the presidential race after a disastrous debate performance and concerns over his health, President Joe Biden is set to hold a live press conference today.

The solo press conference will take place Thursday, July 11 at 5:30 p.m. CT from the  Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. It will air across major news sites and cable channels. For those without cable, you can watch via Fubo or Sling.

The press conference will also be streamed on the White House’s YouTube channel.

The event, President Biden’s first solo press conference in eight months, comes at the end of NATO’s Washington summit.

It comes at a critical time for the president as he faces a growing chorus of people calling for the 81-year-old to exit the race or face almost certain defeat by challenger, former President Donald Trump. The president, however, seems to have dug in his heels and maintains he will not leave the race.

“I have one job, and that’s to beat Donald Trump,” Biden told a recent group of donors on a call. “I’m absolutely certain I’m the best person to be able to do that.”
