Fan-favorite burger is returning to McDonald’s

If you were a fan of the Smoky Quater Pounder with Cheese, you’re in luck.

The burger chain has announced the return of the sandwich, which first appeared on menus in 2022.

The sandwich, available for a limited time beginning July 10, features a quarter-pound beef patty, two slices of American cheese, three half-strips of Applewood Smoked bacon, sliced Roma tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and smoky BLT sauce, all on a toasted sesame seed bun, reports USA TODAY.

Wondering what’s in the BLT sauce? According to McDonald’s, the sauce is seasoned with paprika, parsley, and black pepper, giving the sandwich a “sweet and tangy, savory and garlicky sauce that has a lingering smokiness.”

The sandwich is available in two versions: Quarter Pounder with Cheese and Double Quarter Pounder.
