Here are five events in October that are guaranteed to make your mouth water, offering delicacies that range from hearty pierogi to tangy salsa.

SAINT SYMEON FOOD & CULTURE FAIR

What: Outdoor marketplace with homemade pierogi, kielbasa sandwiches, Greek doughnuts, other baked goods, gift items and more.

Plus: Church tours throughout the event, choir performance at 11 a.m., “What is Iconography?” talk at 1 p.m.
