Heat advisory for Southeast Alabama until Monday evening

On Monday at 1:58 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a heat advisory valid for Monday between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. for Coffee, Dale, Henry, Geneva and Houston counties.

The weather service states, “Heat index values up to 111 degrees expected.”

“Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses,” adds the weather service.
