Former Auburn pitcher Bailey Horn is in line to make his Major League debut after being called up by the Boston Red Sox on Friday.
The Red Sox start a three-game series against the San Diego Padres at 6:10 p.m. CDT Friday at Fenway Park in Boston.

The Red Sox had an open spot in their bullpen after sending right-hander reliever Isaiah Campbell to Worcester.
Horn will join reliever Brennan Bernardino as the only left-handers on the Boston staff.
Horn pitched at Auburn in 2019 and 2020. He had a 7-3 record with a 4.75 ERA in 22 games, including nine starts. In 55 innings, Horn struck out 58 while yielding 51 hits and 25 walks.
