A federal judge this week dismissed a lawsuit filed by 68 Ventures, one of the largest development companies in Baldwin County, against the city of Fairhope and the city’s planning commission.

However, the judge left the door open for the matter to be pursued in state court. In a statement to the Mobile Press-Register, 68 Ventures President Adam Campbell said the company would be filing a claim in Baldwin County next week and asking for an expedited court date.
