5-year-old boy, 20-year-old woman missing from Bibb County; search ongoing
A search is underway for a 5-year-old boy and a 20-year-old women who have been missing from Bibb County since Saturday afternoon.
Jonathan Andrew Pearce II and Jennifer Kay Watts, 20, were last seen about 4 p.m. in the area of George Mill Road in Brierfield.
Watts, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, may be living with a condition that impairs her judgment.
Multiple law enforcement agencies were carrying out the search including the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, Brierfield Fire and Rescue, the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, and police from Alabaster, Pelham, and Calera.
Drones were deployed in the search.
Jonathan was last known to be wearing a black shirt with gray shorts and green light-up shoes. Watts was wearing a beige cheetah print shirt, jeans and neon pink shoes.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency issued an Emergency Missing Child Alert for Jonathan and an Missing and Endangered Alert for Watts shortly after 10:30 p.m. Saturday.
Watts is 5-feet, 5-inches tall and weights 155 pounds. She has brown hair and blue eyes.
Jonathan is 4-feet tall and weights 40 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.
The relationship between the two has not been disclosed.
