A homicide investigation is underway after a woman was found dead in Montgomery.

Police identified the victim as Amanda Warmack. She was 39 and lived in Montgomery.

Police Maj. Saba Coleman said first responders were dispatched at 7:21 a.m. Friday to the 900 block of Green Ridge Court on a report of a dead person.

Coleman said Warmack had sustained fatal injuries but did not elaborate.
