Man, 34, killed in overnight Tuscaloosa shooting
A 34-year-old man was killed in an overnight shooting in Tuscaloosa.
Authorities on Friday identified the victim as Christopher Shobe.
Tuscaloosa police and fire medic were dispatched at 10 p.m. Thursday to a shooting in the 800 block of 33rd Avenue in Tuscaloosa, said Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit Capt. Jack Kennedy.
They treated Shobe on the scene and then took him to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Kennedy said the investigation is ongoing.
