A new kind of Reese’s Cup is hitting shelves soon
Fans of Reese’s cups are in for some good news. A new, healthier version of the candy is coming to shelves.. well, kind of.
Protein bar brand ONE, co-owned by Reese’s parent brand the Hershey Company, is releasing the first-ever protein-packed Reese’s cup, reports All Recipes.
The co-branded protein bar, called Reese’s Peanut Butter Lovers, combines the Reese’s peanut butter cup flavor with 18 grams of protein and three grams of sugar.
“Many peanut butter flavored protein bars exist in the world, but only ONE Brands can do it with the real ingredients of Reese’s peanut butter,” said Bo Jones, ONE Brands’ brand manager, according to All Recipes.
ONE is also collaborating with Hershey’s for a Cookies ‘n’ Crème-flavored protein bars, which has smooth white crème and crunchy chocolate cookie pieces similar to the candy bar.
