Huntsville animal shelter severely overcrowded
The Huntsville Animal Shelter on Triana Boulevard is severely overcrowded with an increase in stray pickups and litters of unwanted kittens and puppies.
According to an Animal Services news release, the shelter currently has more than 100 dogs and more than 60 cats. To help reduce overcrowding, adoption fees for most adult animals will be waived through the end of the month.
